I am an inch away from closing this down. From the start this has cost me nothing but time and money. Everyone has their hand in my pocket. I can’t get insurance to protect myself because I’m not charging anyone. I can’t find a reliable registered agent, I want to get as far away from Legalzoom as I can. For a year all I have done is suffer trying to understand how to create a non-profit and quite frankly it sucks. I have not once helped anyone because I feel like I am just dealing with the feds, the state, legalzoom, lawyers and accountants and my frustration level is peaking at 2:30AM on a Thursday. WTF, no good deed goes unpunished, I never really knew what that meant until now. I’m probably 5 grand into this for literally, LITERALLY NOTHING.
