Our Scouts invited Cub Scout Pack 195 to a geocaching hike!

They learned about GPS and how the Geocaching app works. And used a map to help orientate themselves.

They shared their new skills with the Cubs, too.

Afterwards, they continued on as a troop to log a total of 10 miles for the day.

Aaron Wood is now Troop 240's newest Eagle Scout Candidate!

He partnered with our Charter Organization Hillsboro Post No. 6 American Legion to host a celebration for the Navy 250th anniversary.

The event included detailed historical displays, Morse code and hand signal demonstrations, and several guest speakers.

Thank you to Jerry Willey, Bob Terry, Jim Feemester, and Joseph Mathis for sharing your experiences and wisdom.

And thank you Aaron for honoring our Naval Veterans with such a wonderful event. The whole Troop is so proud of your efforts.
