Liberty Mat Club

10/05/2026

We would like to announce that our High School Coach Nick Salzman will also be head coach of our Middle school team this year.
He brings knowledge, excitement, and compassionate energy to our matclub with almost 20 years experience in coaching wrestling.
Nick was also Head Coach at another matclub where his Jr. High girls team won an Oregon state title in 2018 and were runner-ups in 2019. If you have a middle school wrestler that is looking to get involved for the first time or are looking to improve on the skills they already have.
Coach Salzman can help bring out the best in everyone, no matter their skill level or experience.

Register your wrestler now for the season and come join the Family!
It's a great time to be a Falcon!!!

We are launching the season with Falcon Camp on Nov 2nd to Nov 4th!
K-4th = 6:00-6:50pm
5th-8th = 7:00-8:00pm

It is helpful to be registered by then, but also a great time to try out wrestling before registering. Spread the word to anyone interested! We will have the shoe bin available for wrestlers to borrow from, and will be taking donations as well.

Parent Meetings will be on Nov 3rd during each camp session.

PRACTICES
First practices start the week of Nov 9th. We are tentatively planning the same practice times as last season; however, may need to make adjustments depending on our participation numbers. More info to be determined by our Parent Meeting on Nov 3rd.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the mat soon!
