The Argus Digitization Project Needs You! HELP

https://gofund.me/ff089e47

Tonight another look back at our beloved Hillsboro, Oregon History! All these hours of research, thousands of posts we have made, and the locked history of our town is being cracked! We stepped up to pay $10,000 dollars to the U of O to digitize 45 years of the Hillsboro Argus and make it searchable. I am personally committed to $1,200 dollars. Thanks to those of you who have helped us get to $2600. We need you all to help. $5 bucks will help. There are thousands of us here. So help us unlock the thousands of photos and stories of our town and bring our history back to life!! All currently not available to search!

ARGUS PROJECT - 1931 Checks In-
Barbara Enschede and Tom Brownleewe were named the healthiest kids in Washington County! By total coincidence, we just posted a photo of the Enschede Home on Monday. Now we see one of the kids! The Brownleewe kids have been well known around Hillsboro for 100 years or more!
PLEASE everyone - Donate to our digitization project which is making this possible. Before the Hillsboro Historical Society took this project on this was not possible. $5, $10, $20 dollars - $100 or $1000- I need your help to UNLEASH HILLSBORO HISTORY!

Hey, what's up! We're working to digitize the old Hillsboro Argus newspapers so everyone can access our town's history online, and your donation could really help us keep going. If you can, please click the link below to donate or share it with others—every bit makes a difference. Thanks a ton!

If you can't help online we will gratefully accept a check or cash, and I will come collect. Together we can get this done through 1950-
9,300 of us are now in our group-if everyone all gave $1 we would be done - We will get there! I thank the group of you who have donated- THANK YOU!
Enjoy This bit of History and expect many more like this in the days to come. Share this post! Help us to bring you so much more historical joy!!!
