Liberty Lions like to have some fun in addition to our service projects, supporting our community. It's no April Fool's joke that we tied for first place with two other teams at The Porch's trivia night. While we lost in the sudden-death round, we appreciated being able to fellowship with our club members and fellow trivia teams. The Hillsboro Liberty Lions provided a relief basket filled with household items to Leroy and Judith Shaffer. The Shaffers were impacted by a fire in February.

This is just one example of how the Liberty Lions strive to make a positive influence on our community. If you would like more information about how to become a part of the Liberty Lions, please message us.

In December, the Liberty Lions assembled and delivered 200 Christmas gift bags as part of our annual Bags with Tags service project. These bags were delivered to seniors in the county who receive Meals on Wheels.

We couldn't have completed this project without the help of so many others in the community. The Liberty Lions would like to give a huge thank you to: Southern Hills Community Bank, Real Estate Agent Robyn Coomer, Southern State Community College, Highland District Hospital, Peoples Bank, Shaffer Heating and Cooling, and Moon Tractor!
