My Hillsboro Area Food Pantry Board had a special called Board Meeting today. To decuss some issues thats been happening the last few months. They had steadily got worse as time had passed. We had a Board Member to step done and move on to not volunteer any longer. My Board wishes her the best of luck in her future. As of this week we have a new Board member to replace her. We also have decided we did not need 2 senior advisors. So today the choice was made to let one go as well. The last couple trucks we have gotten in. We have had help unloading them from a group out of Rowan County. Which has been really nice. There also have been Rumors that has gotten back to me and my Board members Hillsboro Area Food Pantry is closing our doors. We are here to let every one know these are just Rumors This pantry is not closing its doors. We just had a lot of inside drama going on that we had to make a decision to clean up. Shed out. You should start seeing new faces and new smiles as you come pick up your boxes, starting next week. We always welcome new volunteers. We need alot of help for us to continue to run smoothly and continue to serve our county. Hope everyone has a good week end and we will see you next week.
