Repost: STILL MISSING for awareness.

‼️ Mr. Jones family is still looking for answers and help from the community to find Wesley Jones. There has been no new updates or leads.

A 71-year-old elder from the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation has been missing for several months, with the case now described as “open but functionally inactive”

Wesley Dixon Jones, affectionately known to family and friends as “Buller,” was reported missing on October 5, 2025. In the weeks that followed, his family, tribal officials, and multiple outside agencies pursued numerous leads, conducting searches across rugged land and waterways near the reservation.

Jones was last seen on surveillance footage at approximately 3:15 p.m. on October 5 along Short Mile Road, also known as East Short Mile Road, on or near the Umatilla Indian Reservation outside Pendleton, Oregon. The video shows Jones riding as a passenger in a gray 2003 Ford Escape.

Later, the same vehicle was seen traveling westbound on the road, but Jones was no longer visible inside. The identity of the driver has not been publicly released.

Jones is described as a Native American man at 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and red Tiger Scott jacket, black shirt, black sweatpants and boots.

“We need all the help we can get to help find him,” Mollyanne said. “Our people matter, our Indigenous people, our colored people, our tribal people. This is an elder that’s missing. And the lack of support in finding him, I think that speaks volumes of our communities and our state and our people.”

Anyone with information about Jones or his whereabouts is encouraged to contact UTPD.

We are thankful to have partnered with Transcending Hope to throw a big summer kick off BBQ in Lents Park last night. We served over 450 meals to our neighbors, played music, and shared so many hugs and laughs.

Jacob, who coordinated this event, shared a picture of him before recovery, standing in this very park. So this meant more than just food for him and his team, it meant restoration and reciprocity- giving back what was given.

Jacob would love to keep coordinating these meals monthly, but could use help! You can CashApp him at $Jacob88Smith
