Griselda is kind, respectful, and determined. She sets goals for herself and works hard to reach them, persevering even when things arenโ€™t easy. We love seeing her continue to grow and pursue the things God has placed before her.

Osmani brings a lot of fun and laughter wherever he goes, and weโ€™re so thankful to have him as part of the MAE family. We love his adventurous spirit, his sense of humor, and the energy he brings to those around him.

21 kilometers. One team. One unforgettable finish. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Recently, several members of our MAE running team took on the San Salvador 21K alongside our friends Dan and Kevin Boyle.

But this race was about so much more than crossing a finish line.

Together, they ran 21 kilometers while taking turns helping push Kevinโ€”encouraging one another through the hard stretches, sharing the load, and making sure they finished together.

It was such a beautiful picture of what we want our young people to learn: we were never meant to run this race alone.

Sometimes you run strong. Sometimes you help carry the weight. Sometimes you need someone beside you reminding you to keep going.

But we keep running. And we run together.

โ€œSo then, let us run with endurance the race that lies before us.โ€ โ€” Hebrews 12:1

Weโ€™re incredibly proud of our teamโ€”and grateful to Dan and Kevin for making these 21 kilometers a race they wonโ€™t soon forget. โค๏ธ

Thereโ€™s something special about watching our youth accomplish things they once may not have imagined possible. โค๏ธ

And we get to see it in so many different ways.

We see it when a student who has struggled in school begins to improve their grades. When someone discovers a talent in music, sports, or English they didnโ€™t know they had. When a young person begins taking responsibility for their future and dreaming about what might be possible.

But even more, we see it when a young person begins to truly follow Jesusโ€”when they grow from simply attending church to being discipled, serving, leading, and eventually discipling someone else.

Thatโ€™s what we want MAE to be about: walking alongside young people in every area of their livesโ€”educationally, personally, and spirituallyโ€”and giving them opportunities to grow, overcome, lead, and become everything God has called them to be.

Sometimes the finish lines are easy to see. ๐Ÿ…
Others take years to reach.

Weโ€™re grateful we get to run alongside them for all of it. โค๏ธ
