Hey All / Portland SCI is creating a new web site / www.sciportlandpdx.org . I need help setting it up as I was a electrician and have 0 experience doing a web page. If anyone in the club that can help or knows anything about creating a page, help would be greatly appreciated .

SCi helping California’s Hunting rights.

9th Circuit rules California’s anti-hunting legislation unconstitutional.

The state tried to ban advertising that could “appeal to minors,” but the reality was simple, this would’ve shut down promotion of youth hunts, hunter education, and beginner fi****ms. Lawful, truthful outreach to the next generation was treated like a crime, with fines up to $25,000 per violation.

After a 4-year legal fight, the court ruled it violated the First Amendment by restricting legal speech, while also colliding with Second Amendment protections tied to lawful firearm use. California ultimately backed down, the law is permanently blocked, and the state is now paying the legal fees.

Thanks to the Sportsmen’s Alliance, SCI, and the other groups that stood up and fought to protect our hunting heritage.

We’ll be sitting up for the Banquet at 10am tomorrow/ we’ll be in our normal room/ south side of basement . Come meet Keely from SCI. National representing us in Oregon. She’s on her way here. The doors open 3 , most people arriving at 4pm when appetizers are being served. Dinner at 6pm
