RASIKA Youth Art Program Scholarship Award 2025.
The President and Board of Rasika is very happy to announce that the first recipient of this scholarship award is our local artist: Sriram Nathan. He will be pursuing his advanced one on one study of classical Carnatic music vocal training under the mentorship and guidance of the renowned Carnatic music meastro Vidwan Sri Sakethraman. We thank Guru Sakethraman for his kindness to teach Sriram and guide him on his musical journey.
Sriram is student of Sri AS Murali in Carnatic vocal for many years. A powerful percussionist who completed his mridangam arangetram under guidance of Sri Neyveli Narayan; Sriram continues to perform locally at many community and cultural events. Pursuing his academic degree as an architect at Univ of Oregon, Sriram enjoys both academia and the performing arts passionately.
