☀️ BEST. DAY. EVER. ☀️

💦 Today was an absolute blast for the kids (and us adults)! We couldn’t have asked for better weather!

🌭 🍧 🛝 HUGE thank you to our wonderful volunteers for spending their day making this day so awesome for our kiddos! From working the stations, to cooking hot dogs, making slushies, and everyone in between, we truly couldn’t have done it without everyone! Their smiles said it all!

🧡 🐾 The 6th grade beat the teachers in a 4-2 game of kickball, sending them off to the Jr. High with confidence!

I am excited to announce that we will be having a 3 day Art Camp this summer for Bright Elementary School students going into grades 4th, 5th & 6th! We will be drawing, yarn weaving, canvas painting and creating a small sculpture! Materials and snacks will be provided by me, Mrs. Kibler! If your child LOVES art, this is the camp for them!

All students should have received a form by now, but if they still need one, I can give them another! Forms and payment are due by June 12th!

*There may also be some prize giveaways!!👀

🎈 💦 🛝 FIELD DAY TOMORROW!

Don’t worry, all of our inflatables have been approved by moms to be safe and fun! 🤣

Tomorrow’s going to be HOT! Please make sure to send your children with their water bottles, hats are definitely encouraged, and sunscreen recommended before sending them to school! ☀️

We can’t wait for all the fun we’re about to have tomorrow! 🍧 🌭

Today was “Woot Woot” cart day for our staff! We also held a fun “Name That Tune” intercom challenge. Mrs. Farris and Mrs. Roberts were the winners with their “Thriller” knowledge!

REMINDER: Free Summer 10-Day Meal Program – Sign Up Today!
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce a special opportunity for all students in the Bright Local School District! This year the school district qualifies for Rural Non-Congregate Meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Every child 1-18 years old (and children 19-21 on an IEP) in our district is eligible to receive one box of meals every two weeks. Each box will contain 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches. They will be shipped by UPS right to your door. The boxes have insulated liners to retain the temperature of the boxes along with a disposable thermometer strip. The first delivery is anticipated to start the week of June 1, 2026. There are no income requirements to participate. We were happy to have MJ’s Roastery this morning for our elementary! We appreciate all of our wonderful staff members and all the work they do with our kids every day!
