Bright Elementary PTA The Bright PTA was created to help bring teachers and parents together. This is done through educational programs and activities.

The Bright PTA was created to help bring teachers and parents together to help the children in our school. We have helped with purchasing of items for the school, put on events such as Santa shop and the fall carnival, and donate our time to helping at school events. We also bring experiences that our students can not receive in our area to the school.

Want to volunteer with the PTA? Or be a chaperone on field trips? A background check is needed and we’ll have them available at Open House tonight!

Southern Ohio ESC will be with us this evening to provide the background check needed! All you need to bring is a $33 money order or cashier’s check made out to Southern Ohio ESC and we can get you ready for the school year!

Back to School Bash is officially over, that means school is just around the corner!

As always, we couldn’t put on this event without the support of our amazing community!

✏️ Thank you to Atomic Credit Union, Living Springs Community Church, Mowrystown Church of Christ, Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, Sugar Tree Ridge Church of Christ, and Union Church of Christ for the generous donations of school supplies!

💇 Thank you to Danny Roberts and Matt Butler for donating your time by giving the kids a fresh new back-to-school cut. Please support these guys at their businesses!

🍧 Thank you to Neon Ice for serving the delicious snow cones!

🪄 Thank you to Jake Lindsey for the awesome illusion show! The kids were in awe!

🛝 Thank you to Southern Ohio Inflatables for the obstacle course!

🍎 Thank you to the Free Store Food Bank for the massive donation of fresh food!

And a huge thank you to our wonderful staff members, PTA parents, spouses, and kids for always being the backbone of these events!

The Back to School Bash is almost here!

August 7 from 5-7 PM join us at Bright Elementary for a night of fun getting ready to head back to school!

🖍️ We’ll have school supplies and your student’s class supply list so you can load up on your supplies for the year!

🌭 Free hot dogs, chips, and water!

🍧 Neon Ice will be available for purchase in the front! Yum!

🪄 Jake Lindsey will be there with a fun illusion show!

💇‍♀️ Free haircuts to get you ready for that first day look!

🥕 Free Store Foodbank will be there with lots of free foods to take home!

🛝 Inflatable slide!

We can’t wait to see all the kiddos on August 7 and get ready for school!
