🇨🇭 Thank You for Supporting the Portland Swiss Schwingfest! 🇨🇭

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Schwingfest such an enjoyable celebration of Swiss culture, tradition, and community. The cooler weather—and even a little rain—made for a wonderful day filled with wrestling, food, music, laughter, and time together.

A heartfelt thank-you to the Schwingfest committee and all of our volunteers for the many hours spent preparing, setting up, serving, and keeping the event running smoothly. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Nussbaumer family for once again allowing us to gather on their beautiful property. Your generosity helps make this special tradition possible year after year.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and supported the Portland Swiss community. We appreciate you! 👏🇨🇭❤️

The dance floor is growing for more twirling and stomping!

Members and Friends of the Portland Swiss:
As our crowds have grown over the past few years including enjoying dancing to our favorite Swiss music under the stars, we have found our dance floor to be nearing capacity before the crowning ceremony for the wrestlers. That's a great problem to have; but we hope to continue to grow the crowds enjoying our Festival..

Volunteers have offered their services to expand the concrete slab allowing us to nearly double the size of our dance floor. The Tillamook Swiss Club has kindly offered use of their modular dance floor to take advantage of our enlarged concrete slab. While labor is being donated, the materials still cost over $2700. Please consider making a donation to the Portland Swiss Club towards the cost of the concrete materials. We will also have donation jars at the Schwingfest on August 1st. Portland Swiss Incorporated is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The Club will issue you a receipt for your donation which you can use as a tax deduction.

Please make checks to Portland Swiss Inc. and mail your donations to Portland Swiss Inc. c/o Kerry Nussbaumer, 10308 NW Helvetia Road, Hillsboro Oregon 97123

We now also have Venmo! See attached QR code, thanks!!!

Questions can be directed to me at (503) 969-6255 or to Kerry Nussbaumer at (503) 799-6351. Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
