Lice prevention doesn’t have to be complicated!

Our Lice Prevention Spray is made with a blend of essential oils that are commonly used to help discourage lice from making themselves at home.

Here’s what’s in the spray and why we chose each one:

Tea Tree – Known for its cleansing properties and commonly used in natural hair and scalp care.

Geranium – Has a strong, floral scent that lice aren’t particularly fond of.

Lavender – Not only smells amazing, but its natural scent can help make hair less appealing to unwanted visitors.

Rosemary – A fresh, strong-smelling herb that has long been used in natural hair care and is a great addition to a prevention blend.

Citronella – Best known for its bug-repelling scent, and we love adding it to our blend for that extra layer of protection.

We combine them into one easy-to-use spray that you can spritz onto hair before school, camp, sleepovers, or anytime your kids are around a group where lice are making an appearance.

It smells good to us… but not so inviting to lice!

Our spray is intended for prevention and is not a treatment for an existing lice infestation.

An update for our Ohio crazy weather! Be sure to follow Highland County's America 250 Celebration for all the updates about the amazing events going on!

🌧️ Weather Update for Saturday's America 250 Celebration

We know everyone is watching the forecast—the elephant in the room! 🐘 While we're hoping the rain holds off, we have a plan in place to keep the celebration going if Mother Nature has other ideas.

In the event of rain, the following activities will remain on schedule and move indoors to the Masonic Lodge (134 N High St.):

🏛️ 3rd Floor Stage
• Opening Ceremonies - 9:00 a.m.
• Unveiling of the Highland County Revolutionary War Memorial - 6:00 p.m.
• Military Band Concert - 7:00 p.m.

🎈 2nd Floor Dining Hall
• Kids Zone - 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Pioneer Exhibits 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Character Presentations - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

🚶 Good news! Masonic Temple Tours, Courthouse Tours, and the Farmers Market will still take place as scheduled, so no worries there! Food Trucks will also do their best to stay open!
