Congratulations to Trooper Chazni Scott, Class 71 graduate of the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy.

Trooper Scott’s husband, Quade Scott, placed her badge on her for the first time.

Her hometown is Eureka, Kansas.

Her duty station is Greenwood County.

William Butterworth achieved a remarkable accomplishment on August 16th, completing rigorous training and graduating from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, empowering him to join the Derby Police Department in Derby, Kansas, where he will collaborate with fellow Tabor Alum and Professor Deputy Chief Lem Moore to drive positive change and foster a safer community. Trooper Gunnar Reiss, K-146, just finished Day 11 of his FTO training. He graduated from the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy on June 18, 2024, with Class #68.

Trooper Reiss will continue his training in Troop A with FTOs Trooper Cebulski and Trooper Clark.

It has been an exciting year for some of our Criminal Justice Alumni. 4 graduated from different Law Enforcement Agencies (3 Kansas and 1 California), 1 is entering her 2nd year in Law Enforcement and 2 currently enrolled in KLETC. Proud of their accomplishments and excited to see them moving forward in their future careers.

Wyatt Samuels, Cheyenne Washington and Payten Staley all represented our Criminal Justice program very well at the Kansas Highway Patrol Collegiate Law Academy. They even were able to sit and talk with former Tabor standout Gunnar Reiss who will Graduate KHP academy on June 18th! Proud of you all and this is our 1st visit and definitely won’t be our last.
