Well just got back from lettering our new Tahoe for the fire department. It will be used for medical calls and other calls when needed. Wanted to show everyone that our fundraisers are being put to use for our community and we are always trying to improve our department for folks not only in Peoria but Hill county. Thanks to everyone that has helped on this journey.
And let me give a big shout out to Texas Elite Graphics for a great job!

PUBLIC NOTICE - WHITNEY AREA SCHEDULED TXNM POWER MAINTENANCE

Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) notified the City of Whitney that a planned overnight power outage is scheduled from midnight on Tuesday, November 18, through 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19. Please make necessary preparations and stay weather aware leading up to this scheduled event.

We delayed posting this notice while we gathered additional details and confirmed that this outage may spread into the County areas. Specifically, State Highway 22 from Whitney to the Dam and FM 933 from Whitney to FM 1534.

Edit: After speaking with HILCO and Hill County Water, if there is a power outage in the areas identified outside the City limits, it will affect water availability/pressure.
