This guy is soooo close to graduating high school. Major props to the teachers and staff who have helped us get to this point. There is a special place in Heaven for the teachers, and above all, the special needs teachers. And thanks to the friends and family who have propped us up along the way.

Eliot turns 18 today! It’s something to celebrate! It’s also a tremendous source of anxiety for me. I woke up to a text from our pharmacy that they would no longer be able to communicate with me about his prescriptions. We are lucky enough to have an attorney to help us work these things out. So many parents do not have the insurance, family, and resources that we have. I am so happy for Eliot today. Keep us in your hearts as the kids like Eliot grow up!

We knew the cinnamon rolls were amazing. Turns out the coffee is yummy and the cupcakes are divine… we tried toasted coconut, caramel apple, chocolate dump cake and chocolate supreme. Eliot was so happy to see his grandparents!

Thanks to the kind folks at Hilliard Station Baking Company. Eliot is enjoying his work-study there on Thursday mornings. And man, my cinnamon roll was TDF!

Team Eliot enjoyed the Columbus Greek Festival today. Eliot tried Greek fries and we loved the music. Going on through Labor Day weekend!
