If you couldn't make it but would still like to grab some treats, all proceeds will help fund Moon Pie's upcoming leg amputation surgery! ❤️

Just send me a message if you're interested! Pickup is available at the rescue in Hilliard, or my husband can meet in the Arlington area of Jacksonville at certain times/days.

Thinking about adopting a bunny? Try fostering first! ❤️

Recently, a wonderful family fell in love with two bunnies at our rescue (not the ones pictured) and decided to foster them with the possibility of adopting. They enjoyed lots of bunny kisses and cuddles, but after the bunnies' surgeries, they realized they weren't quite ready for the commitment. They hadn't expected how much hay rabbits eat or how much daily care they require.

And that's exactly why I LOVE fostering!

Fostering gives you a chance to experience bunny ownership without the lifelong commitment. In just about a month, you'll experience daily care, vet visits, spay/neuter surgery, medications, and recovery.

Once your foster bunny is medically cleared, you can adopt, foster another, or simply take a break!

As the primary person running Bebette's Bunny Rescue, I rely heavily on foster families to help more bunnies. We cover approved medical expenses, and you provide the love, daily care, and transportation to vet appointments in Jacksonville.

That family may not have adopted, but they still made a difference in two bunnies' lives. That's a successful foster experience in my eyes!

If you've been considering rabbits or just want to make a difference, please fill out our foster application on our website! Www.bebettesbunnyrescue.org

You don't have to adopt a bunny to change its life. Sometimes, one month is all it takes! ❤️

ISO: Couch for our bunny rescue building!

Ideally, we need something two or three seated, 60 inches long or smaller that is in good, usable condition. We’re hoping to find one free or at an affordable price if anyone happens to be getting rid of one.

We’re located in Hilliard, FL. If you have something that might work, please send us a photo and the dimensions. Thank you for thinking of us!

📣 We could really use some helping hands at the rescue this October!

I just checked our volunteer calendar, and for the entire month of October, we currently have just ONE person signed up...and thankfully, they’re coming twice! Other than those two days, our volunteer calendar is completely empty.

Volunteer days are Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and even a couple of hours makes such a difference. Regular chores include changing litter boxes, refilling hay and water, vacuuming, laundry, and general cleaning. With our HALLOWEEN event coming up on October 17th, I could also really use some extra help organizing, decorating, rearranging, and getting the rescue ready.

No experience is needed, and there is no minimum age. Anyone under 18 just needs an adult over 18 with them. We can also provide community service hours!

If you’ve been wanting to come spend some time helping the bunnies, we would truly love to have you. You can choose any available Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday and sign up directly through our website.

🐰 FOSTERS NEEDED! 🏡

Blossom is just one of the bunnies waiting for a foster home!

Fostering is usually about a one-month commitment. You’ll care for your foster bunny and take them to their spay/neuter appointment in Jacksonville, where they’ll also be microchipped and receive f***l testing. We cover approved medical expenses!

Fosters must be local and able to provide transportation to the surgery appointment.

And one of the perks? 💕 Fosters get first chance to adopt their foster bunny once they’re completely ready!

If you’ve thought about adopting but aren’t sure you’re ready for the commitment, fostering is a great way to see what bunny life is like. Or simply foster to help us make room for another bunny in need.

🐇 Ready to help? Head to our website and fill out a foster application! Www.bebettesbunnyrescue.org
