ANNOUNCEMENT FROM OUR CANTATA DIRECTOR:

🎶 NEW PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎶

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Northwest Kansas Regional Community Choir, directed by Kathryn Tremblay of Hoxie!

This brand-new ensemble welcomes youth singers (grades 7–12) and adults of all ages from across Northwest Kansas to come together and share the joy of music through community and performance.

📅 First Rehearsal: Sunday, October 19 at 6:00 p.m.
📍 Hoxie High School Choir Room, 1625 Queen Ave, Hoxie, KS 67740
🕕 Rehearsals: Sundays, 6:00–7:30 p.m.
🎤 Season runs through May 2026 with concerts planned for January and May

💲 Membership Fees:
Adults – $30 per season
Youth – $20 per season

No auditions required — just a love of singing and a willingness to be part of something special!

We received wonderful feedback from nearly 50 community members through our recent interest survey, and we’re so excited to turn that enthusiasm into music!

Believing that music should be a lifelong pursuit, the choir provides an opportunity for area musicians of all ages to continue sharing their love of singing. Participation is open to all area youth singers in grades 7–12 as well as adults of all ages.

It’s time for the Wichita Children’s Theatre!

The Graham County Arts Council will be presenting the Wichita Children’s Theatre on October 8 at 8:45 a.m. in the Tebo Auditorium at Hill City Jr/Sr High School. This is a yearly event sponsored by the Graham County Arts Council. The Hill City Elementary students will be attending as a group. An invitation is extended to care givers of preschool children to attend at no charge. A grant from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation makes this program possible.

2025 Cantata is right around the corner!
This Art Council sponsored annual concert is welcoming all singers in our community to participate!
The first practice will be at 2 pm to 3:30 pm, Sunday, February 9, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
