Encourage, Equip, and Empower women with God’s Word

Neue Thing exists to teach modern women God’s Word by encouraging them to know and believe it, equipping them to live it, and empowering them to take it and transform a new generation through a vintage faith for Jesus Christ.

The thing I love the most about this is the fact that it has nothing to do with our strength and everything to do with the Lord’s. We can raise up our shields because He empowers us to do so. Let’s lift them up!

How did you do?? Who got all six right?

With each directive here, we see a perfect example given for how Jesus lived. I think it’s so important to understand the end goal here of looking more like Christ. Christ’s love was self-sacrificial. The invitation is to love like He loved.

If you’ve hung around Neue Thing for a while, you’ve probably heard me say “submission” is not a dirty word…
This week, I’d like for you to metaphorically sit in these verses for a while. Bring whatever feelings arise in you to God and think about why you’re feeling them. Ask God to remove any definitions of this call to submission that are not true. Ask Him for a better understanding, and trust that He desires good for all of His children.

Pray God’s Word. It’s like breathing faith, and it’s a powerful weapon against the Enemy. I dare you to try it. 😁

The concept and word pictures of battle and armor are pretty intense. We’re talking about war! And yet, God’s intention is not to scare us, but to prepare us.
What are you armed with today, spiritually speaking?
