We will have a community discussion on July 8 at 7:00 PM to talk about future Old Settler's Weekends! It will be at Amber Waves Emporium. We invite all local organizations, businesses, volunteers and community members to attend and share ideas, suggestions and feedback as we begin planning for future celebrations.

Your input is important, and we encourage everyone with an interest in Old Settler's Weekend to join us!

If you are unable to attend and would like your input heard please put in writing what you would like presented and drop it off with one of our officers, Billy at Amber Waves, Brandi at Vilas or Danika at Jan Busse Ford.

🇺🇸 Join us for the Old Settlers Parade at 10 AM. The theme is: Celebrating America! No preregistration required if you want to participate. The parade travels from Highmore Health to Commercial Ave., North to First St., turns west to Iowa Ave. and South to the school. Floats can to enter on the west side of the nursing home. No one is allowed to enter from the South on Ash Ave. Parking is available for horse trailers on the north side of Our Savior Lutheran Church on 4th St.

Congratulations to Mary Ann Morford for being honored as Volunteer of the Year! When it comes to organizing productive collaborations in Highmore, Mary Ann Morford is there. She is a pillar when it comes to volunteer leadership. Her tireless efforts have made a positive and powerful impact for decades in the Highmore Civic and Commerce. Her generosity and commitment to her community are unmatched in hours. Just a quick reminder. If you would like to have Broasted Chicken over the Old Settlers weekend orders must be placed by 8p tonight, June 17th. We are taking orders for 16-20-24-piece buckets.

We have adjusted hours on Wednesday and Thursday. We will be closed in the middle of the afternoon both days from 2p-5p
