Update on Felipe.
Felipe, our friend we put in rehab that lived on the streets is slightly better, more coherent but still very withdrawn. He has had a safe place to sleep and is not malnourished anymore. He is very calm and soft spoken . He has participated in all the therapies and groups. After 5 months, his stay is coming to an end at Genesis.
We are going to connect him with a psychiatrist to get checked out since we all (the people at rehab and us) think his issue is mostly mental health and not drugs or alcohol.
He needs diabetes médication and high blood pressure meds along with anything the psychiatrist might recommend.
Please continue to pray for him friends. We will continue to follow up with him to get him the care that he needs.

Felipe, nuestro amigo a quien ingresamos a rehabilitación y que vivía en la calle, está un poco mejor, más coherente, pero todavía muy retraído. Ha tenido un lugar seguro donde dormir y ya no está desnutrido. Es muy tranquilo y habla con suavidad. Ha participado en todas las terapias y grupos. Después de 5 meses, su estancia en Génesis está llegando a su fin.
Vamos a conectarlo con un psiquiatra para que lo evalúe, ya que todos (el personal del centro de rehabilitación y nosotros) creemos que su situación es principalmente de salud mental y no de dr**as o alcohol.
Necesita medicamentos para la diabetes y para la presión alta, junto con cualquier otro tratamiento que el psiquiatra pueda recomendar.
Por favor, continúen orando por él, amigos. Nosotros seguiremos dándole seguimiento para que reciba la atención que necesita.
