Heart, Mind & Spirit Recovery

Heart, Mind & Spirit Recovery Heart, Mind & Spirit Recovery is a spiritual program and tools for recovery. Transform the heart, mind and spirit of your recovery journey.

Heart, Mind and Spirit Recovery is a spiritually based program focused on the Heart (Emotion), Mind (Consciousness) and Spirit (God - Source Connection) of recovery. Real lasting recovery does not end with the 12 Steps and a lifetime of attending meetings. Our spiritual and energy awareness-based programs, tools and retreats provide relief from drug addiction and alcoholic thinking, transforming u

nhealthy behavior patterns, emotional triggers and limiting beliefs into living a new level of recovery. The next level of recovery embraces a shift out of powerlessness, fear and shame-based thinking and belief patterns that keep us from deepening and empowering our personal and professional relationships. Start telling and living a new story about your recovery, that includes anchoring yourself in what you want to attract and experience, and not what is holding you back. The next level of recovery also involves embracing the empowerment of spiritual tools, insights, techniques and principles that address emotional triggers and false beliefs, so that we can live an authentic, life-affirming, power-filled and joyful life. In essence, we provide tools and programs for the heart, mind and spirit that offer embodiment, grounding and centering in the care and maintenance of your spiritual condition. We believe this is the cornerstone of all lasting recovery - a recovery based on and centered in an internal knowingness that all is truly well. We are a community of like-minded friends in recovery, who are committed to their continued personal and spiritual growth and expansion in redefining what is possible. We are touching and transforming lives all over the world, with a new level of recovery; re-defining what it means to truly live your best life.

Courage in recovery means following our heart’s inner guidance and intuition that comes from the still small voice within each of us. Turning away from our fears and not reacting to the louder voices that have become our well-worn defense mechanisms, allows us to experience the expression of God which is our essence. When we allow ourselves to show up in courage, we become a vehicle for our higher power to use us and we become the gift we wish to be in the world. - Heart, Mind & Spirit Recovery

Willingness opens the doors to honesty and open-mindedness which are the building blocks of recovery. Without willingness, we limit our recovery to the old belief systems that keep us anchored in emptiness, resistance and resentment. Being willing to step into a new level of recovery requires us to embrace a new way of being and thinking to change our lives. Simply by being willing, we catapult ourselves into creating a new story of recovery.

When we consciously cultivate serenity, we are more centered, balanced and accepting of life. Serenity is the cornerstone to recovery. The everyday challenges of life are a proving ground for the practice of sourcing serenity. When we are faced with a person, place or condition that makes us uncomfortable, we can choose in that moment, to look for positive aspects in all of these areas. Making peace with what is, creates serenity. - Heart, Mind & Spirit Recovery

When we are in gratitude we tap into the universal spiritual connection that creates worlds. Make gratitude a key component of your daily spiritual practice.

Setting healthy boundaries is important for all areas of recovery. Boundaries empower us to be more aware of who we are and what we want in each moment. By checking in with how we feel first, letting others know what we want and how we want to be treated, we establish a personal and an energetic agreement. Our boundaries and expectations determine how others respond to us.

Our intentions and desires direct our recovery journey. Setting intentions in recovery expands our reality from getting through one-minute-at-a-time to believing we can achieve our life goals and dreams. The power of learning to tap into the resource of intention is that it accesses our inner Divinity for co-creation. Intention energetically starts our point of attraction to bring us more of what we want to experience in our lives.

In recovery, understanding how we attract certain experiences into our lives is invaluable. Our thoughts have the power to create and attract to us both wanted and unwanted things by giving them our attention. Whatever we focus on gets bigger and attracts more of the same. Learning about Universal Laws like the Law of Attraction allows us to make better choices and align them with the power of the Source within.

In recovery, we talk about an attitude of gratitude because we know our attitude has a direct impact on our current thoughts and beliefs. Our attitude affects our expectations because what we focus our thoughts and feelings on, we attract into our lives. The journey into deeper recovery requires a positive attitude as an energizing power to create our best life.

Releasing resentments in recovery frees us to live our best lives now. When we drag past hurts and grievances into our present lives, we fill ourselves with toxic thoughts and emotions. By practicing forgiveness and compassion, we allow others the grace to be exactly where they are, acknowledging that, like us, they are doing the best they can with the tools they have.

In recovery, letting go of trying to control people, places and things brings us peace. Practicing letting go as the spiritual principle of surrender allows our lives to unfold in amazing ways. By letting go and letting God guide our lives, we join in co-creating instead of controlling, with trust and faith as our foundation. Letting go allows us to release the past and live in the present.

Happiness is more than a mindset in recovery. The very idea that we could have and maintain happiness, at one time seemed so illusive, that we dared not claim it for ourselves. Happiness in recovery starts with permission to allow it again and this eventually evolves into to a way of life. When we focus on gratitude and appreciation, more happiness is created, and in turn, we become a reflection and source of happiness to others.
