And that's a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year! Congratulations to our 5th and 6th graders, who are moving on to middle school, and to all of our other students who are moving up a grade!! 🎉

As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, we wanted to say THANK YOU to our amazing community for being such great supporters of the PTO this year!! Because of your support through fundraisers and spirit nights, we were able to do so many things for our students and staff this year! We can't believe it's already the last day of school!! If you have a kindergartner starting in the Fall, we hope you'll check out these playdates during the summer! These are put on by fellow parents of incoming kindies, and they are a great way to get to know some classmates before the year starts, and help ease the transition in August. No need to RSVP, just show up and have fun! 💚💛

We’re excited to introduce a new way for families in our school community to connect!

We’ve partnered with Our Circle, a private, nonprofit mobile app designed for parents raising children with support needs. This can include things like ADHD, autism, learning differences, chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, or any situation where a family can benefit from having friends who understand their world.

Through this partnership, we’ve created a private group exclusively for our school families.

This gives you a dedicated space to connect with one another, while also having access to the broader Our Circle community and features.

Inside Our Circle, you can:

• Connect with other parents from our school and beyond who share similar day-to-day experiences

• Set up playdates and real-world meetups

• Discover local events and inclusive places

• Learn from other parents in a supportive environment

This is not traditional social media. It’s built for real connection, with safety and privacy at the core:

• Parents/guardians-only community

• No screenshots or screen recordings inside the app

• Strong protections against spam and misuse

• Your information is never sold or shared

Girl Scout Troop 68088 is bringing the Copper Mesa garden back to life and we'd love your help!

Please join us for one (or both!) of our upcoming volunteer days as we clear out the overgrown garden and get it ready to refurbish, replant and update the space. Help us take the first step in creating an outdoor learning area that students and teachers will enjoy for years to come. Stay for as little or as long as you are able - families are welcome!

Also, for those families who have used the community planters in the past, please collect any items you'd like to keep before Saturday. Thank you!

Day 1 (5/2): Garden Clean-Up

1 - 5 PM

Help us pull weeds, move rocks, and break down old structures.

Day 2 (5/9): Mulch Spreading

2 - 5 PM

The Highlands Ranch Metro District is donating a truck load full of mulch and we need help spreading it around the garden.

As we close out the year we want to celebrate our amazing teachers and school staff during Colorado’s Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th-8th). Please keep a look out for flyers coming home this Thursday, with suggestions for how to get your kids involved!
