Springtime means yardwork, which can be a real chore when you get a little older.
My friend and client (all clients and up becoming friends) of the Forever Home Foundation, Carl, needed a little help with getting his front yard mowed and edged in preparation for warm weather and summer. Carl and I were also able to fix the #2 coil on his car.
All and all, a pretty productive day. Maybe the best part was being able to spend some time with Carl.

In the coming weeks, the Forever Home Foundation will begin sharing client success stories from our first complete year as a registered 501c3 Not-for-Profit Organization. These stories will showcase the projects we completed with before and after pictures as well as detail the various stories of our clients and their unique situations.

Our success over our first year is directly related to the financial support we received from our Major Corporate Partners, Silver Leaf Mortgage and Canyon Title along with the support we received from numerous individual donors via our various fundraising efforts.

With our mission of “Helping Seniors Stay in Their Homes” we have established an initial fundraising goal for 2021 of $25,000.00 by June 30, 2021, along with an overall goal to raise $75,000.00 by December 31, 2021. We are proud to say and account that virtually 100% of all funds raised go directly to fund the various projects we provide to seniors in need.

We invite you to share in our success, to share in the lives of our area seniors. With a simple donation you can help change the lives of so many wonderful people right here in Colorado. This is a project where the senior couple needed help finishing projects that were started years earlier and due to health reasons were never completed. We helped by finishing the projects so the couple could put the house on the market, thus being able to move closer to family on the east coast... This was a big project

Had a wonderful day yesterday working with Carl and helping him fix his fence along with several other project.

Many times, seniors just need a hand, like Carl, to fix something.

We at Forever Home Foundation are happy to help. Matter of fact, we are not only helping Carl to fix his fence, but we are providing free counseling to help Carl get his finances in order, and create a budget to help him manage his monies better.

It's truly great to be able to make a difference in people's lives right here in Colorado.

As the school year starts for many school districts around the state this week, we saw the need to help our local High School, Mountain Vista High School, with their PPE supplies.
We were able to donate some much needed supplies to the school to help keep students and teachers from being exposed to the virus. In the long run, this also helps keep the exposure rate down for seniors in our community, thus helping us fulfill our mission for keeping seniors safe at home.
Thanks to Michael Weaver, Principal at Mountain Vista High School and the Teachers and Staff for helping our community to staff safe while our kids get the opportunity to get back to as normal a life as possible during these uncertain times.

Looking forward to continuing the main mission of our foundation, helping seniors age in their own home.

We're currently helping seniors stay safe in their homes through our COVID-19 Outreach program. This program provides seniors needed PPE supplies so they can cope and stay safe through this pandemic in their homes and group home facilities. You can help us with this mission by donating to our COVID-19 Outreach program via our webpage at www.foreverhomefoundation.org

But we also need to focus on raising funds to fulfill our main mission of helping seniors stay in their homes. In these times, deferred maintenance items are starting to stack-up on our already overwhelmed senior population. We look forward to helping seniors with these issues.

Dear Forever Home Foundation:

I personally, and professionally, want to thank you for considering that our apartments have senior residents and were in need of help with this COVID 19 virus. Is has been slow getting masks to those in need, but we are continuing to distribute the best we can. As of today, residents who are limited in the English language, have been informed by others to come to office to get their masks. We are still distributing masks with the greatest of pleasure. They are so happy and grateful to your organization!

I was pleased that we, working together, are helping to improve their “staying safe” by providing them the masks your organization was so kind to donate.

Language barrier has been over-come, and that has helped getting the word out to come to office for assistance.

Thank you for the generous donation for the PPE. We are an active community of 55 years. Our residents are aware of what is needed to protective them self, however, them have limited funds to replace masks, wipes, sanitizers, etc. This donation is a blessing and greatly appreciated.
