Your generosity has done more than fill a food box or provide temporary relief.

It has planted hope in someone’s life—a struggling mom who now has dinner for her kids, a senior who doesn’t have to choose between groceries and medicine, a father who can walk through our doors with dignity, knowing someone cares.

Because of your kindness, someone who felt invisible now knows they’re seen. A child who went to bed hungry yesterday will have a meal today.

A family, beaten down by the weight of poverty, feels lighter because they’re no longer carrying that burden alone.

Marcus walked a hard road to get here.

After losing his parents and falling out with his family, he found himself on the streets, feeling lost and alone.

For years, he drove big rigs, but he admits, ‘I made some bad choices, got mixed up with the wrong crowd, and lost everything.’

With the help of a local program, he got off the streets, and he’s now working to rebuild his life, one day at a time.

He says City Mission has been a place of refuge in this journey:

‘I’ve been blessed a lot, and now I can bless other people. The people here remember you, shake your hand, pray for you – it means so much.’
