A helpful reminder to, us, adults to not supply alcohol to minors.

As we celebrate the end of the school year/graduations and roll into beautiful summer months, please remember that you need to be 21 to buy alcohol. Providing alcohol to minors could cost you $1000 fine and/or 60 days in jail.
Adult modeling of responsible consumption matters. Let’s be great role models this summer

Did you hear about our newest campaign??

IF YOU WON’T EAT/DRINK IT, WHY WOULD YOU V**E IT?

Yesterday, we had an amazing opportunity to launch our new campaign at White Lake Middle School and got to speak with our 7th graders about what is really in that sweet smelling, flavored v**e cloud. 💨 It was eye-opening to say the least.

Our visual display highlights that majority of v**e products contain the exact same toxic chemicals and volatile organic compounds that are used in common household and industrial products.

Some of the display products allowed us to have deeper conversations including;
🚫 Formaldehyde that is found in nail polish, is also included in majority of the v**e products.
🚫 Acrolein is primarily used as a w**d killer, but shows up in e-cigarette aerosols.
🚫 Heavy Metals like nickel, lead, and tin are known to leach out of the device coils and into your lungs.

We also discussed that; just because a chemical is safe to eat in food doesn't mean it is safe to heat and breathe into your lungs.

We are thankful for the opportunity that was provided for us to educate our students and even more thankful that our students were vocal, kind and generous with their positive feedback.
