Did you hear about our newest campaign??

IF YOU WON’T EAT/DRINK IT, WHY WOULD YOU V**E IT?

Yesterday, we had an amazing opportunity launch our new campaign at White Lake Middle School and got to speak with our 7th graders about what is really in that sweet smelling, flavored v**e cloud. 💨 It was eye-opening to say the least.

Our visual display highlights that majority of v**e products contain the exact same toxic chemicals and volatile organic compounds that are used in common household and industrial products.

Some of the display products allowed us to have deeper conversations including;
🚫 Formaldehyde that is found in nail polish, is also included in majority of the v**e products.
🚫 Acrolein is primarily used as a w**d killer, but shows up in e-cigarette aerosols.
🚫 Heavy Metals like nickel, lead, and tin are known to leach out of the device coils and into your lungs.

We also discussed that; just because a chemical is safe to eat in food doesn't mean it is safe to heat and breathe into your lungs.

We are thankful for the opportunity that was provided for us to educate our students and even more thankful that our students were vocal, kind and generous with their positive feedback.

It's that time of year again!!!

We will be hosting our Police Open House again this year on June 7th from noon-3 PM. Come by for police car rides, free hot dogs/refreshments, and tons of fun activities. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are buzzing with excitement over here. We have been looking forward to this festival for weeks now. The wait is almost over.
The coalition's activity table will be located right next to the petting zoo. Come see us this Saturday.

We have disposed of 7lbs of medication in partnership with Huron Valley Recreation and Education. 3 days left to achieve our goal of 10lbs. 9am-11am 5/13-5/15. Stop by the Oak Valley Center (4200 White Oak Trail, commerce). If you miss us, take your expired or extra medications to the local police stations in a zip lock bag.
