Leadership trainer, keynote speaker, and communication coach helping leaders and teams communicate clearly, lead with confidence, and build strong company cultures through practical leadership frameworks and workshops. Although I reside in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley, I serve companies near and far, from top-tier Fortune 500s to driven, locally owned businesses. By helping businesses chart

their financial and risk-management journeys, I ensure that the companies I work with are on a successful path to longevity. I’m dedicated to seeing future generations thrive, as a co-founder of Forgotten Children of Haiti 501(c)3, which helps maintain relief programs for children in distress in Haiti. While working with community organizations and my non-profit, fulfills my deep desire to give back, it is my family that pushes me to be better every day.

We’re training every Tuesday for about an hour long casual ride. It’s a great way to see how we all feel on our bikes and get to know each other.

We’re riding the Pedal for Purpose fundraiser ride on September 19th! Rail trail only this year with a few ride distance options to choose from.

Don’t miss it! joinpedalforpurpose.com

I had to have a difficult conversation last week that I almost avoided.

And yes, even these conversations can still be hard for me.

But I’ve learned over the years that avoiding the conversation rarely makes things better. There was a time in my life when I didn’t handle things well at all. I was self-destructive, lacked focus, and wasn’t always the kind of person I’m proud of today.

A big reason I got into leadership and communication work in the first place was to work on myself.

To learn how to handle hard moments differently, communicate better, and to sit in uncomfortable conversations without shutting down or worse.

And after that conversation last week, I recognized how much I’ve grown.

Not because the conversation was easy, but because I was able to handle it differently than I would have years ago.

And it’s why I care so much about helping others develop these skills too.

These Tuesday night community rides were a little extra special this week as my dad showed up to ride with us!

These community rides are every Tuesday. We leave the Walkway Over the Hudson’s east side at 5:30 PM sharp for a casual ride for about an hour in total. It’s all on the rail trail and all are welcome to join.

Especially my dad! ♥️

This is all in preparation for my century ride for Pedal for Purpose, which is a fundraiser for nonprofit, Forgotten Children of Haiti.

Listen, on thing I’ve learned from coaching basketball is that people don’t need another speech.

Sometimes they just need clarity.

1. What’s the goal.
2. What’s expected.
3. What needs to happen next.

A lot of leadership communication gets more complicated than it needs to be.

The best coaches and leaders I’ve been around communicate in a way that feels simple, direct, and easy to trust.

And honestly, this is where a lot of teams struggle.

Not effort. Not talent. Clarity. 🤯

I’ve been sharing more leadership communication tips like this on YouTube lately and there’s a lot of good conversation happening over there.

If you’re working on becoming a stronger communicator, go take a look.

And if your organization is looking to strengthen communication, leadership presence, or team dynamics, reach out. This is exactly the kind of work I love doing with teams and leaders.

Most people want to become better communicators, but they never really practice it intentionally.

They just hope experience takes care of it.

The leaders who improve are usually the ones who slow down enough to reflect on how they’re showing up in conversations, meetings, and pressure situations.

I talk about this a lot on my YouTube channel. Providing tips and insights from my coaching perspective. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Difficult conversations can either strengthen trust or damage relationships. The difference is how you communicate through them.

In my latest YouTube video, I share a practical framework you can use to talk through difficult conversations, build trust, and strengthen relationships both at work and in life.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

What are you reading right now?

I’m always looking for leadership and communication books that challenge the way I think or help me coach a little better.

A few books end up changing how you lead. Others just remind you of something you already knew but needed to hear again.

Either way, I love the process of constantly learning.

Send me recommendations. I’m always adding to the list!

You can usually tell when someone is speaking just to avoid silence.

They keep adding to the point. Repeating themselves. Explaining something that was already understood.

I’ve caught myself doing it too.

A lot of strong communication comes from trusting that your point already landed and not talking past it.

That takes more confidence than most people realize.

A lot of people go into conversations already preparing their response.

And you know it when it happens.

They stop listening halfway through because they’re already thinking about what they want to say next.

But the best communicators don’t do that.

They stay present long enough to actually understand what’s being said first.
