We provide food, clothing, financial assistance and more thru the generous donations from our local community. We are primarily a food pantry, located in Highland Twp., MI, providing assistance for our neighbors who reside in the Huron Valley School District of Oakland County. We help the recently unemployed, the working poor, families in poverty, low income seniors, people with disabilities and o

thers who qualify. We have many special program that specifically assist the children of Community Sharing's clients with over 350 children receiving benefits that will improve their health, welfare and, we hope, happiness. With a focus on the next generation we offer tutoring in the fight against intergenerational poverty, knowing that education is the road to self-sufficiency. Something special we do... in the month of a client's child's birthday, an age appropriate gift bag is provided through non-monetary donations. Everyone's birthday needs to be celebrated with family and friends.

🔹️Meijer White Lake is partnering with Community Sharing to provide much-needed relief to local families facing food insecurity through the Meijer SIMPLY GIVE program.

🔹️Community Sharing benefits from food donation cards that are purchased at the White Lake Meijer store. These Meijer food cards are vital to our pantry as they are frequently used to make sure our pantry is stocked for our client families.

🔹️ Meijer will double match SIMPLY Give cards purchased on Saturday March 7th, effectively tripling contributions to our pantry!

🔹️Look for the Simply Give Cards near the checkouts, scan the food card at the checkout and Meijer forwards food cards to the pantry.
