There have been a few rumors circulating on Facebook today, and in the interest of transparency, we want to address them directly.
The Illinois Club Pig Association (ICPA) is a registered nonprofit organization in the State of Illinois.
Our mission has always been, and will continue to be, serving the youth of Illinois.
Every dollar we raise is invested back into our programs, including hosting shows, providing awards, and creating opportunities for young exhibitors. Our board is made up entirely of volunteers who generously donate their time and effort because they believe in our mission.
Our responsibility also includes ensuring that ICPA-sanctioned shows provide a positive, well-run experience for exhibitors and their families. When determining whether a show is eligible for ICPA certification, we consider factors such as organization, efficiency, communication, and the show's ability to promptly and reliably pay exhibitors and other financial obligations. Shows that have a history of poor management or unresolved financial issues may not meet the standards required for ICPA certification. These decisions are made with one goal in mind: protecting the interests of our youth exhibitors and maintaining the integrity of the ICPA circuit.
We remain committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and accountability. If you have any questions or concerns, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly. Please feel free to call or text any member of our board at any time.
Thank you for your continued support and for believing in the youth we serve.
