What a wonderful night of Rotary fellowship, gratitude, and celebration!

Last night, the Highland Rotary Club gathered for our annual Installation Dinner, where we officially welcomed Pete Fiorese as our new Club President and offered heartfelt thanks to outgoing President Don Verity for his leadership, dedication, and service to our club this past year.

Our Board of Directors took their oaths, and many well-deserved awards were presented. We were honored to be joined by Rotary District 7210 Governor O'Loendorf and incoming District Governor Carrie Hernandez. It was a meaningful evening filled with friendship, appreciation, and the kind of Rotary spirit that reminds us why this work matters.

We are grateful for the leaders who guide us, the members who serve with heart, and the shared commitment that keeps Highland Rotary moving forward. Special thanks to Alessandro Milanese at Milanese Italian Restaurant for the delicious meal and hospitality.

We had a great meeting this week with our eight Highland Central School District seniors and their families.

Emelia Halbijohn, Payton Hons, Cameryn Dutra, and Taso Bakatsias were recipients of $2,000 college scholarships.

Highland students from Ulster BOCES Ely Meneses, Michael Grant, Ryan Davies, and Kyle Menezes each receive $1,000 checks to help them pursue their future career goals in their trade area.

Awarding these deserving students scholarship awards and hearing about their plans for the future is one of our favorite meetings of the year. Good luck to all!

Our Interact Club officers visited us for their final meeting of the school year and gave a presentation of their year in review. They participated in 13 events and provided hundreds of hours more in community service. This group of young people are simply amazing and we are so proud of them. Three of the four officers are graduating this year and we wish them all of the best luck possible.
