Well it’s been busy and I’m going to bed way too late so I have had no time to get posts up we have done a lot so far this week we left for the beach on Sunday and returned on Tuesday night we had a good time the girls and myself got sunned out but enjoyed Lake Michigan not being too cold this year.

J has never been to the beach and loved it she was a little scared of the waves but loved them once she got used to them.

She wore her goggles the whole time it was so cute
On Tuesday when we got back J was determined to ride a bike on her own with no training wheels. She has learned faster than anyone I know! We are so proud of her. I will not say it didn’t come with light any frustrating moments we had anger frustration sadness and even walking away at times yelling in Spanish. We kept telling her she needs to give herself Grace and know that it takes time and practice!!!! She’s a rockstar!

Today I had to work all day and that was a different experience than any of the other days so far mom was unavailable and J felt it for sure at the end of the night she asked me if I was working tomorrow. I replied no and she was so glad! We ended the day with a fresh hair wash to try to get the rest of the sand out of her hair (which didn’t work there’s still some in it) fairy hair for a pop of color and curls!

Day 7
Still making adjustments here and there learning how to live with each other and get along.

We are learning about things we don’t like about each other and things we do. Things that are hard to live with and things that make us smile throughout the day.

I keep reminding myself it’s like bringing home a new baby. we have learned a lot about her in just the 7 days we have had her.

We where pretty bored today I have been packing and preparing for camping all day, Daniel took J with her to do a little shopping for pants J seemed to enjoy getting out of the house for a little break.

The evenings always seem to be a lot easier and way more fun. We had hamburgers for dinner which was a winner! ❤️ I made arepas for lunch that was a winner as well!! ❤️

J Helped wash the dishes tonight which was so sweet! They helped pack the camper with all the food and ended up back in the living room for a sleep over again. 😂

I’m fine with that J seems to be afraid at night to sleep on her own so we have been taking turns bunking with her at night but she seems to like mom the best.

Tomorrow will be fun we leave for camping at the beach!
