As we enter the last couple of days of our Flex Your Muscles, Feed a Child food drive, we are blown away by this incredible community of gyms!

This food wall is because of YOU — and it’s only part of the story! Every donation pictured here, along with all of the food not pictured, represents a community that showed up in a BIG way for local kids.

Because of your incredible support, Blessings in a Backpack – Huron Valley is heading into the new school year ready to start strong.

We are so grateful to every gym, gym member, and community supporter who helped make this possible.

For the past year, we’ve watched our monthly volunteer meetings grow — and almost every month, new faces have joined us. New ideas, new energy, and more people who believe our HVS students deserve to have the support they need.

And we’re heading into the school year with BIG plans! 🙌

A huge thank you to Maggie Sitar for bringing together an amazing group of women for her Lucky Ladies Social Bingo. What started as a fun night out became an opportunity to give back, with a generous donation benefiting Blessings in a Backpack - Huron Valley. 💕🍀

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and for the way you continue to show up for our community and our kids. Your support will help make sure local children have the food they need this school year.

As we enter the FINAL WEEK of our Flex Your Muscles, Feed a Child food drive, we are so thankful for Iron Pride and all of our participating gyms for stepping up and giving back.

The enthusiasm at Powerhouse Gym Milford is truly unparalleled! 💪❤️

Apparently, being in the lead just wasn’t enough for them — they came through in a BIG way and have already promised there’s even more to come! 👀🔥

What has impressed us most throughout this competition isn’t just the amount of food they’ve collected. It’s the incredible positivity, excitement, and genuine dedication their entire gym has shown toward helping local kids.

And we have to give a special shoutout to Jeff, the owner of Powerhouse Gym Milford, whose unwavering support of Blessings in a Backpack and the kids in our community has been absolutely incredible. He has embraced this campaign wholeheartedly and continues to rally his members behind the mission.

At this point, their energy is so contagious they’re making us want to join the gym! 😂💪

Thank you, Powerhouse Gym Milford, for showing what it looks like when a local business truly shows up for its community. You guys are AMAZING! ❤️🎒

🔥 The friendly competition is HEATING UP! 🔥

We just had a head-to-head food pickup from Powerhouse Gym Milford and CrossFit Fate — and these two gyms are officially NECK AND NECK!

But don’t count anyone out just yet… We still have more collections to go, and one of our other participating gyms could come from behind and surprise us all!

The competition is fun, but the real winners are the local kids right here in Huron Valley Schools facing food insecurity. ❤️🎒 Every donation helps us fill backpacks and make sure kids in our community have food for the weekend.

So… will Powerhouse or CrossFit Fate pull ahead, or will another gym swoop in and take the trophy?!

A huge THANK YOU to Carls Family YMCA for showing up in a big way for our Flex Your Muscles, Feed a Child campaign!

One of the most amazing parts of this campaign has been watching our local gyms continue to show up for the kids in our community. Each gym has rallied its members, collected donations, and reminded us just how much can happen when a community comes together.

We are so grateful to the YMCA and every gym participating. Your generosity is helping make sure local kids have food to take home every weekend. 🎒

Right now, Powerhouse is leading the competition in donations 🏆🔥 — and we love seeing their community rally behind a mission that matters.
