Cub Scout Pack 1163 - Highland Village, TX

Cub Scout Pack 1163 - Highland Village, TX Founded in 1994, Pack 1163 is based out of Heritage Elementary School in Highland Village, TX and is part of the Boy Scouts Texas Longhorn Council.

Cub Scouts is a year-round family- and home-centered program that develops ethical decision-making skills for boys and girls in the first through fifth grade (or who are 7-10 years old). Activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Today is Hobbit Day!

*Hobbits may seem simple, but when adventure calls (like Frodo or Sam), they pack smart and make the best of limited supplies.
*Scouts live by "Be Prepared", carrying what they need and learning skills to adapt in the wild.

Strong Sense of Fellowship 🤝
*Hobbits value community, friendship, and helping one another.
*Scouts work in patrols and dens, practicing teamwork and service.

Cheerful & Humble 🙂
*Hobbits love songs, laughter, and a positive spirit, even in hard times.
*Scouts are encouraged to stay cheerful and kind, no matter the challenge.

Courage in Small Packages 🗡️
*Hobbits aren’t warriors by nature, but they rise to the occasion with bravery when needed.
*Scouts may be young, but they’re trained to face challenges with courage and confidence.

Basically, Hobbits are like the ultimate Boy Scouts of Middle-earth—small, resourceful, nature-loving, and always ready to lend a hand.
