District 113 Education Foundation The Foundation enriches the student experience at Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools by fostering innovative programs and opportunities.

The District 113 Education Foundation supports teacher and staff initiated programs at Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools for science, the arts, languages, general education and culture, as well as at-risk students, which are not otherwise funded by the school District budget. Grants awarded have supported programs such as Latin Dance, Giants Performing Arts, Robotics, Beyond Homework, the S

panish and French Libraries, Interactive White Boards, the Literary Festival and the Young Journalist Work Project. The District 113 Education Foundation receives funding from a broad-base of businesses, individuals and alumni, including significant in-kind contributions.

Last week, the D113 Education Foundation supported meaningful learning across our schools, including Genocide Commemoration Day at both DHS and HPHS—helping bring important conversations and reflection to our students.

The Foundation was also pleased to sponsor Arts Alive! Art Expo at DHS, highlighting the creativity and talent of our students through visual art and performances.
