What a perfect morning for a hike over in Harriman State Park! Our boys and girls did a great job hiking the trail with their pack and families. The Scouts even handled adversity well when we discovered a portion of the trail was not properly marked or maintained in a few parts.

It was a bit windy yesterday, but we still had a great time fishing with our youngest Cub Scouts in the Village of Monroe New York! Two of them even managed to catch a fish! 🐟

It’s such a wonderful thing to take part in events that support our community and build citizenship. The new historical sign at The Gatehouse is lovely and we were happy to bring in the colors with Troop 4 to help celebrate it.

What a great time we had yesterday at our Pinewood Derby! A huge shout out to all of our parent volunteers for organizing it and for every parent that helped their scout build a car.

It was a great time and we’re excited to do it again next year!

We had a great little hike through the Bear Mountain Trailside Zoo today! The weather was absolutely perfect and the scouts did a great job listening and staying with their buddies. Next hike will be in May! Along with some fishing and hopefully a bike ride!

Our Cub Scouts hit the trail this afternoon and picked up about ten large bags of trash along the Heritage Trail between the Village of Monroe and the Airplane Park. We were joined by some of our Den Chiefs from Troop 440.
