As the world begins to reach day 35 without pay for government workers and day 5 for those that are snap recipients we have to come together to remember that we can get through this but we have to do it together. We have to remember to pray, have faith, have hope when it feels so hopeless, and most importantly be kind. The people that we think have control are the ones that don't they just do the jobs that they've been handed. Remember when you walk out your door and you're frustrated, hungry, worried, mentally exhausted, and so many of those other feelings that there is still hope. I pray for each and every family that is being affected by this freeze at this time and I want you to know that the Pantry of Hope is here for you. We are not just praying but we are here working together to come up with solutions to be able to provide for the needs that are there. Even if the decision is made today, yesterday, or the next day it still will take time for the benefits to reach people and there still will be people without pay. Please share this with anybody that is in need of assistance we will serve anyone and everyone that is being affected by this. We are gathering our resources, securing our donors, and praying. We will be open this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to serve any and everyone that is in need, we hope to be able to give you a bag of toiletries and a few meals to get through those tough times. We are focusing on the staple items along with some shelf items. We operate on Saturdays only. We do not have the ability to do home deliveries and you may not pick up for someone else unless there has been pre-arrangements made with the director. You'll be asked a few questions when you arrive but the only documentation that is needed is an ID. We will not turn you away but hope to give you some hope for a few days.
Please share with those struggling and reach out with any questions.
