The Florida Turfgrass Association & The Florida Turfgrass Research Foundation scholarship applications are available.

The Florida Turfgrass Research Foundation provides scholarships to students who are actively enrolled in an institution of higher learning that offers an online certificate or a bona fide degree program in agronomy, horticulture or other turfgrass-related fields of study.

Available FTRF scholarships:
- Col. Frank Ward Memorial Scholarship
- Hans & Otto Schmeisser Memorial Scholarship
- James L. Blackledge Memorial Scholarship
- Ralph W. White Memorial Scholarship

The FTGA Legacy Scholarship is for any FTGA Member whose child is an incoming freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in high school planning to attend a state college, university or other program in the State of Florida. The FTGA member must have maintained a three (3) year membership as of the date of the scholarship application.

It's time to nominate the next recipient of the FTGA's President Award. As an FTGA member, you have the opportunity to nominate a person or company in any of the following categories:
- Sports Field of the Year
- Golf Course of the Year
- Lawn Care Operator of the Year
- Advocacy
- Research/Innovation
- Environmental Stewardship
- Industry Support
Please take a few moments to complete the nomination form for an individual or company deserving this recognition. The nomination form is due by June 30.
The recipient will be recognized at the Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony on October 7 at the Annual Florida Turfgrass Conference.

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has transitioned to a new Division of Agricultural Environmental Services (AES). AES has a new portal, and before you need to renew your license, you may want to educate yourself on their new system.

You will no longer mail in your FDACS CEU Forms; you will upload them to the portal. The site has information on:

- Portal Tutorials
- CEU Requirements
- Pest Control Exam Schedules & Information
- Pest Control Licensing & Certification
