Dress Code and Personal Decorum
As the High Springs Lions Club continues to grow and we welcome more community members and visitors to our spaces, we want to ensure our members and their guests' appearance reflects our welcoming, professional environment. To help keep everyone aligned, we have updated our dress code guidelines, to keep it family friendly.
Prohibited Graphics and Language
Clothing, hats, or accessories displaying language, images, or symbols that are vulgar, obscene, profane, or discriminatory are strictly prohibited.
This includes any attire featuring:
Profanity or sexually explicit language/images.
Political, religious, or social slogans that promote hostility or discrimination against any protected group.
References to drugs, violence, or illegal activities.
Brand & Public Trust:
Inappropriate language instantly damages the HSLC and LCI's reputation.
Creating a Safe Environment: It ensures a respectful environment for everyone. Clothing with hostile or vulgar messaging can be viewed as disruptive or intimidating. Crude or offensive language will also not be permitted.
Clear Grounds for Enforcement:
HSLC Den Tender and Any Board of Director reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any attire worn or inappropriate language while representing the HSLC.
Violations will be addressed using the following progressive steps:
First Offense (Official Warning): The individual will receive a private, verbal warning and will be requested to change, cover the offensive attire, or correct their language immediately. To remain at the club facility or event, full compliance with this request is required.
Second Offense (Removal from Premises): If a second violation occurs, or if an individual refuses to comply with an initial warning, they will be asked to leave the premises or event immediately for the remainder of the day.
Third Offense (Suspension/Ban): Repeated violations demonstrate a disregard for our community standards. A third offense will result in a formal review by leadership and a long-term or permanent ban from all future events and properties hosted by the organization.
Starting on June 9th 2026.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
