Today we went shopping for fresh produce with Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest, NC - our campers had an amazing time! Thank you all for reaching our kiddos the importance of farming, benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables and giving us an experience to remember. 🍒🍓🍇🍎🍉🍑

Meet our Emergency Assistance Specialist Tiffany! She's the one helping clients cover their rent and utility payments so they can avoid eviction or a shutoff.

Here's what she says: "I love that I get to step in before things turn into a full crisis instead of after. There’s nothing like being able to help a family stay housed or keep their lights on before it becomes a bigger emergency."

She's also a certified labor doula and pregnancy advocate! She's helping families begin by supporting them through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She's a true advocate for people, she wants people "to feel like someone is truly in their corner."
