Greetings Rotary Friends!
This coming Thursday (August 27) is our appointed monthly to help deliver Meals on Wheels. Club member, Clark Pierce, is our coordinator. Here is what we have so far and a message from Clark...we still have three open routes as of today (Sunday).

Our Meals on Wheels Delivery is next Thursday August 27, 2026. Pick up will be at 9:30AM from the Roy B Culler Senior Center (old Oak Hollow Mall). Below is the final list I have:

Yesterday was an active day with for our Club. We had five Club members attend and participate in the Piedmont Rotary District 7690 Membership Summit in Asheboro - Ken Esposito, James Cass, Gary Newcomb, David Hanein, and Addison Maille. Looking forward to the great ideas and vision these Rotarians bring back to our Club.

We also were fortunate to have author and speaker, John Saad, share with us in our weekly Club Meeting at the High Point Country Club. John invited us to open ourselves up to the power of reflection and it's benefits for our business, family, and personal lives. We live in such a distracted world and we lose out when we don't take time to reflect on our own lives and our world.

If you haven't been able to join us recently, your presence is missed! We're growing as a Club and looking forward to the future. Your gifts and presence are needed. See you Thursday at 12 Noon!

Another great Rotary Club of High Point weekly meeting with a super speaker and also a very engaging membership in attendance. We had to walk a mile to the Country Club due to another meeting at the same time….. three ball rooms full and no place left to park. As a healthy and hardy group we had better than average attendance. It is always a pleasure to be lead by our President, Scott Wagoner!

Dear Fellow Rotarians...
I want to thank everyone for your flexibility today (August 13) as we navigated a full High Point Country Club with multiple events going on and parking rather limited. With all of that, we still had an excellent turnout with a great presentation by fellow Rotarian, Tim Johnson, as well as an invitation by Open Door Shelter to be part of their upcoming Masquerade Gala and Auction on Friday, September 18. We also exchanged flags with a visiting Rotarian (Mike Glass) from Colorado. Most importantly, there was continued good energy in the room and laughter! Be on the lookout for more information regarding an upcoming Fellowship gathering at a Carolina Core game.
