As members of the AMBUCS Big Hat Club, this challenge still resonates today and reminds us why our mission matters.

Where in the world did Terry Lanham touch down for the final stop of her regional conference world tour? Right back in the "Good 'ol State of Oklahoma"—her very own home turf!

The Great Plains Region Ambucs gathered from May 1–3 in Enid, Oklahoma, where the wind truly comes sweeping down the plains. Terry didn't just sharpen her skills at the various training sessions; she also witnessed the cutting of National President elect Matt Trainor hair that raised $1000.00 that several AMBUCS chapters ponied up so that Fina Bruning- Nett could cut that pony tail right off; she also witnessed a historic milestone: the Enid Noon AMBUCS celebrating 100 years of dedicated service to their community 1926-2026 what a amazing feat.

Between sessions, Terry had a fantastic time visiting with the Enid AM chapter, sharing laughs and a few "classic" Dad jokes:

"What did one wall say to the other? I’ll meet you in the corner!" 🤣

From dancing the night away to the sounds of the Stars Band to sporting her Big Hat with pride, it was a trip to remember. But the tour isn't over yet! Terry is already looking forward to her next big adventure in Myrtle Beach. She hopes you’ve already booked your spot—she’ll see you on the sand!
