We had the honor of spending the day at the N.C. State Fair with the NC Governor's Highway Safety Program in Safety City talking to folks about how to recognize and report human trafficking and teaching about the incredible work CACs are doing across North Carolina to help victims.

Partnerships like this are critical to building safer futures!

A special thank you to North Carolina State Highway Patrol-Interdiction for Protection of Children, CACNC board members, Terrie Hess Child Advocacy Center, TEDI BEAR Children's Advocacy Center, SAFEchild, and SaM Child Advocacy Center for time spent volunteering, helping with materials, and having the tough conversations. We are so thankful to be in this fight and on the with every CAC, MDT partner, volunteer, and countless others who put in the work every day to pave the way to safer tomorrows!

If you’re available next Friday, please go and officially welcome The Willow Tree CAC of Children's Center of Northwest North Carolina to their community!

We’re are so excited for the newest addition to our CAC family and are proud of the work they’re bringing for children and families of Surry county 💙

The Willow Tree Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, welcoming place for children impacted by abuse and trauma to tell their story and receive the support they need.

We are proud to work alongside local law enforcement, the District Attorney’s Office, Department of Social Services, and the judicial system to protect children and support families in our community.

Every child’s story matters, and The Willow Tree represents an important step forward in protecting children and supporting families in our community

📅 Join us Friday, October 23 for our Ribbon Cutting at 11:00 AM and Open House tours throughout the day to learn more about The Willow Tree and how we work together to support children and families impacted by abuse and trauma
