Welcome to the Eddie Pope Foundation page!
The Eddie Pope Foundation is part of a growing movement that is using soccer to change the lives of at-risk youth throughout the country. Our goal is to impact the youth we serve in such a way that they will not only be equipped and motivated to achieve personal successes in their own lives, but just as importantly, they will acquire the tools and desire to change their communities locally, nationally, and globally.
Hundreds of organizations and groups have joined the "soccer for social change" movement by intentionally creating programs and opportunities that allow young people to experience life transformations through the sport of soccer. Youth who were once discounted, discouraged, and disheartened are not only learning to take control of their own lives, but are also becoming leaders and change-makers in their communities.
Our hope is that this page will be a gateway to the work not only being done by us, but by our friends throughout the country. It is also our hope, that as a result of your visit, you decide that you would like to be a part of the ever growing community that is using the beautiful sport of soccer to literally change lives!
