Troop 26 High Point, NC The troop closely follows the scouting program as outlined in the various handbooks and training that is available. We meet regularly at IHM church.

Thus, we are a scout led troop with boy leaders making the decisions, handling the problems and issues that occur, and running the meeting and camping trips. There are several Assistant Scoutmasters in addition to the Scoutmaster, each with assigned areas in which to coach the troop leadership. The troop’s program is active and varied with the troop having at least one outdoor outing each month, r

ain or shine. We camp, backpack, go on bike trips, and go on trips down waterways. We have a lot of fun and learn a few things along the way.

Congratulations to Luka! Wonderful Eagle ceremony last night. Our last to do so from the original group of boys, from when Max started, from Webelos pack 16, who stayed in Scouts. They all made it to Eagle. So proud. A lot were there last night. Way to go Luka!

The North Carolina Transportation Museum 2016 Rail Camp has been a huge success! After braving cold weather, exploring the museum exhibits, and riding the on site train ride, all attending scouts have achieved the Railroading Merit Badge. With 800 participants in attendance, this has been our largest scouting event yet! We are looking forward to an exciting scouting season in 2017, with two Boy Scout Camps, a Girl Scout Camp, and a Cub Scout day planned.
