We're on the run! GO FAR's 10-week, 20-session program helps elementary students train to run or walk/run a 5k. The program has grown to include more than 40 participating schools in Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem and dozens more across the country, from California to NC we are GOING FAR! We reach over 10,000 children and their families each year.

The backpacks are packed, the hallways are buzzing, and a brand new school year is officially here!

Welcome back to all of our amazing students, families, teachers, administrators, and GO FAR coaches. We can't wait to see familiar faces, meet new runners, and spend another season building confidence, healthy habits, and strong communities one step at a time.

A special welcome back to our school partners in Guilford County Schools, Alamance-Burlington School System, Randolph County Schools, and Davidson County Schools. Thank you for opening your doors to GO FAR and helping us inspire thousands of students to set goals, stay active, and discover what they're capable of.

Huge congratulations to our board member Ken on completing the Reykjavík Marathon! 🇮🇸🏅

Ken doesn’t just create incredible race experiences for others. He gets out there and runs them, too.

Our youth are watching. They see leaders setting goals, doing the work, pushing themselves, and crossing finish lines.

That’s theory in practice. 💚💙

So proud to have leaders who don’t just tell our kids what’s possible. They show them.

No foot touches the pavement alone. 👟💙💚

Coaches are the heartbeat of how we continue to help our community GO FAR. Long before race day, they're showing up week after week, volunteering their time to infuse students with character development, teaching them what it means to persevere, to encourage a teammate, to believe in themselves.

Then race day comes, and there they are again. Right beside their runners, every step of the way.

That's the GO FAR difference. Together, we GO FAR.

To every coach who has ever laced up next to a kid who needed them: thank you. 🙏
