Congratulations to the High Point Preservation Society on the successful sale of the Marshall/Adam Jay house, saving it from demolition and aiding in the restoration and renovation of a historic structure

The High Point Preservation Society purchased the historic Marshall Jay House to prevent it from demolition. We have accepted a contract to purchase from a person who will restore the house and use it, returning it to the tax rolls and preserving a big piece of history.

In 2025 HPPS purchased the Marshall/Allen Jay house from the Spring Hill Quaker Meeting House in High Point. This circa 1700’s home has been saved from demolition after a fire damaged the building. We will offer this building for sale for complete restoration.

In 2025 HPPS has partnered with the High Point Museum to help repair and preserve the historic Mendenhall Store and Indulged Meeting House at City Lake Park.
