We teach children that having a pet is a huge responsibility and that, before adopting an animal, the family must be sure they have plenty of time, devotion, and love to give to their pet. Susie has become the poster dog for Susie’s Miracle Fund, Susie’s Law, and the Susie’s Hope™ nonprofit organization. The Susie’s Hope™ non-profit organization promotes education and awareness of the care and res

ponsibility required in owning pets as well as animal safety around unfamiliar animals. Although Susie’s Miracle Fund and Susie’s Law are not officially affiliated with our Susie’s Hope™ nonprofit organization, we have been very supportive of both groups through both donations of time and money in the past.

Update: out of the 8 dogs that I rescued in the horrible living conditions these two females are a bonded pair! Would love to see them adopted together! The white and black one gets her confidence from the tan one! They both are in a foster home together! Thanks to Randee Brown for fostering them! She agrees with me that they should go together! If you are interested in adopting these two sweet girls, please let me know. They are up to date on all their shots and will be spayed soon. Update on pups: they all are safe and vetted! It was 8 total! Decided to share some of the pictures of the horrible living conditions these pups were in! Animal Control is involved and knows about the situation! I still need donations between boarding and vet care I am at 1123.00. I appreciate any help! So I got a call on Monday about 8 dogs trapped in a house with no air conditioner or running water! The owner went to jail! The dogs had know one to care for them! I took action and found the owners son to let me in the house. He had a key. His dad is on drugs and has destroyed the house with the dogs in it. It was a mess! A hoarding situation worse than I have ever seen. The dogs had peed and pooped in the house for probably two years with no clean up! Very disgusting! I couldn’t leave the dogs. I got four in one night, couldn’t catch the rest as they were hiding under piles of junk! Two got out and ran off! My husband and I went back the next night and went through piles of junk trying to save them. We finally got them! I also trapped the two running loose out side! Got the last one today! I have vetted 7 so far and it is costing me to board them u til I can find a place for them to go! This is in Madison NC! They are all super sweet! There are 3 pups that are females, 2 adult females, and 3 adult males! They may be around 2 or 3 years old. The pups are probably 6 to 8 weeks old! These adorable boys were found abandoned in Stokes County. They are 9 weeks old and available for adoption. Their adoption fee is $95 and covers all vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, combo test and neuter! They are loving, healthy and playful kittens. PLEASE HELP!!!
Early this morning, a Thomasville, NC police officer responded to a distress call from a concerned citizen that reported seeing a bag being thrown out of a moving vehicle on a busy road. The caller couldn’t turn around, but thought it looked like a bag filled with kittens! Upon arrival, the officer was horrified to discover that the bag, which was completely tied closed, did contain a litter of small kittens. Sadly, only one tiny male survived the impact. This compassionate officer immediately drove the kitten to a local nonprofit veterinary hospital for treatment. He named the surviving kitten RR, an abbreviation of Road Rash. This miracle kitten is going to be okay and is being treated for his wounds and a severe upper respiratory infection. We are brokenhearted about the cruelty of this horrendous act, but are thankful that RR is going to be okay and adopted by the responding officer!

Georgie is a sweet-natured dog requiring immediate rehoming due to her current living situation becoming unsustainable. After her previous owner had to leave her, Georgie was left with their partner, who now wishes to relinquish her care due to her affectionate nature and high energy levels. Despite her loving demeanor, Georgie finds herself confined to one room most of the day and only occasionally permitted to engage in playful activities. Unfortunately, her excitement has led to an accident where she knocked over the current caregiver, who suffers from health issues and is increasingly frustrated with Georgie's demands for attention. Georgie has all her vaccinations up-to-date and has been spayed. She interacts well with children and other dogs. If you are able to provide a suitable home or temporary foster care for Georgie, please contact me urgently. The caregiver has stated that if a new home is not found promptly, Georgie will be surrendered to the Stokes County animal shelter, which has limited capacity and would likely result in a short stay for her.
