Women in Motion promotes leadership, professional success, personal wellness, and the financial independence of women. Women need to be empowered and have the resources necessary to elevate to the next level in their personal and professional lives. Women in Motion is dedicated to addressing the critical needs of women in the Great High Point Area, providing programming focused on Education, Mento

ring, Networking, Wellness, and Financial independence. In 2018 Women in Motion conducted research to assess the needs of women to reach the "next level" in their personal and professional lives. 60% of the women prioritized education and mentoring. Findings also indicated that barriers to reach the "Next Level" professionally included Finances, Fear/Lack of Self Confidence, Current Role/Work-Life Balance, Focus on others more than self, and Lack of Support. Women identified several potential factors that could influence advancement to the next level, including:
Education, Mentoring, and Self Awareness. Women in Motion offers the women in the Greater High Point Area networking opportunities, programming focused on self-awareness and empowerment, and a signature mentorship program designed to train women to mentor others. A BIG congratulations to YWCA High Point, our 2026 Women in Motion Grant Recipient!

This year, Women in Motion is proud to award $10,000 to support the Latinx Entrepreneur Work Lab for women creating opportunities for women to dream bigger, build their businesses, strengthen their confidence, and move forward. 🙌

And what a moment to celebrate it! As Women in Motion marks 10 years of impact, this is exactly what our mission is all about: women showing up, women reaching back, and women moving forward.
