๐ฟ๐ชด Providence Place Garden Project Update ๐ชด๐ฟ
Today, our three garden benches received their finishing touches!
A huge thank you to all the girls and parents in Girl Scout Troop 10041 and 13211 for building these beautiful benches and spending the day sanding and staining them to prepare them for years of use and enjoyment.
These benches are just one piece of the larger Providence Place Garden Project, an initiative led by Girl Scout Service Unit 151 to revitalize two outdoor garden spaces for the residents of Providence Place.
This community project includes:
๐ป Renovating two existing gardens
๐ชด Installing raised beds for vegetable and flower gardens
๐ถ Creating safer and more accessible pathways
๐ณ Improving landscaping and overall beautification
๐ช Adding seating and gathering spaces for residents to enjoy
Every board, plant, tool, and hour of labor has been 100% donated by volunteers, local supporters, and Girl Scout families who believe in giving back to our community.
Our goal is simple: to create a safe, welcoming, beautiful, and engaging outdoor environment where residents can relax, socialize, garden, and enjoy time in nature.
Projects like this remind us that when people come together in service, small acts of kindness can grow into something truly meaningful. ๐
