We are just one month away from the annual Low Protein Picnic to celebrate PKU Awareness Month! This year it will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 11 AM - 2 PM at the Playground Shelter at Keeley Park in McLeansville, NC.

Once again this year, we will have a low protein recipe contest and ask you to bring your best low protein recipes to share.

We are thrilled to announce that Nutricia, Vitaflo, Zoia/Pentec, and IVDS have generously offered to provide prizes for the low protein recipe contest!

In addition to the sponsors mentioned above, PTC Therapeutics, Biomarin, and others will be present to share samples and more.

Keeley Park has a splash pad that will be open and near our reserved shelter! If you would like to take advantage of that offering, please bring a bathing suit and towels.

Please email us at [email protected] for more information on parking and special events as well as your RSVP!

We can’t wait to see you there!

With the recent expanded label for PAL for 12 years and up, we wanted to give space and time for caregivers and patients to ask questions of all ages. Those attending will hear from a mom and her high school son talk about PKU and life after starting PAL. A provider will be on hand to speak to the data. We will also have a pantry table on site with new things found in local stores! DM us for the link to register today!
